Steven D. Reinglass, M.D. is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Retina Specialist at Eye Care Center of Lake County, Ltd. with offices in Gurnee and Vernon Hills Illinois. Dr. Reinglass received his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine followed by an Internship at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago and a Residency in Ophthalmology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. In addition, Dr. Reinglass completed a Fellowship in Retinal and Vitreous Surgery at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.
Dr. Reinglass sees many types of eye care patients including those in need of general eye examinations, cataract surgery and lens implant evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, diagnosis and treatment of macular degeneration (ARMD) and the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.i He is committed to helping patients with cataracts to become less dependent of eyeglasses (reading glasses, distant and bifocals) after cataract surgery through his use of correcting lens implants such as the Crystalens ® Lens Implant, the ReZoom™ Lens Implant, the AcrySof® ReSTOR® Lens Implant and the Technis® Multifocal Lens Implant.
He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Illinois State Medical Society and the Lake County Medical Society. In addition he is a member of the Vernon Hills Lions Club and American Diabetes Association where he has been an invited lecturer on various eye care topics.

David Sheade, O.D. earned his Bachelor of Science in molecular cellular biology from the University of Illinois and his Optometry Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. He has experience in diverse settings and has treated an extensive array of ocular conditions and diseases.
Dr. Sheade has experience managing glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, treating chronic dryness, diagnosing and managing acute infections, and fitting specialty contact lenses with a certification in fitting for orthokeratology. He is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association and a provider for the Infant See program.
Rupal Doshi Clair, O.D. received her Doctorate from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She has been practicing in southeastern Wisconsin since 2010 and joined our office in 2018. Dr. Clair is bilingual (Spanish).
She also has clinical experience serving patients at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, Indian Health Services in Santa Fe, NM, and the Veteran's Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. Clair practices comprehensive Optometry including taking care of patients in need of routine eye care, contact lens fittings, specialty contact lens evaluations (including multifocal, astigmatism and rigid gas permeable lenses), diabetic eye exams, and diagnosis and management of a myriad of ocular diseases including macular degeneration and glaucoma.
